List of larger aftermarket All-Terrain tires sizes that will fit the Ford Maverick

This is for the ecoboost models.

After doing my visual charts I thought it would useful for us to collect all the larger sizes that members have tried on the truck in one place and which ones fit the stock height without rubbing or which ones fit with rubbing or lift kits etc.

For those looking for additional clearance - Keep in mind, going from a 28.5" to a 30.5" tire only nets you 1" of added clearance.

Do it! I went back and forth on this size or 245/70 in the Toyo’s and ultimately chose the 245/70’s but would love to see that set up.

I have the same size. I live in Northern Ontario and wanted a good all weather tire with 3 peaks winter rated. Great in snow, great on the highway etc. Oh and they are made in the States not China.

Interesting - do you have a lift? Any rubbing? That's a 30.9" tire, 9.3" width vs the 245/70R17 at 30.6" with 9.8" width. We've had reports that 245/70 fits with no rubbing. Interested to hear if the extra .3" diameter will fit as it has .5" less width.

The 245/65R17 is 29.5" and 9.8" width.

The 30.9" would be 2.4" taller than the Pirelli Scorpian All Terrain Plus.

Please post photos if possible with ruler showing gap between tire and wheel well. Thank you!

My tires were 235/65 R17, do not need lift or leveling. I misread the other thread 65's not 75's

I reached out to Rough Country customer service and asked if using the leveling kit the Maverick would fit the 235/75R17 and they said “Yes”. They said using the kid I should have no issues mounting those. !!

I plan on buying these if and when truck arrives.

Nokian is quite common in Canada but these are newly released with no reviews yet.

I’ve ran a couple sets of WRGs and decided give them a shot since they were only $148 a tire (about $50 cheaper per tire than the WR G4 SUV).
Like the WRG4 they’re an all weather and low rolling resistance tire.
