I am running a 265/65/17, so the overall dimensions are very close. I have a 2" lifr and I get a little rubbing near and at full lock. I don't think the 265/65/18s will work well with the stock suspension.Question for you guys here, will a 265/60/18 ko2 fit the stock 18"s that come with the black out package. Im worried about hitting the suspension strut. Pic below shows my rims. I believe the offset is 37.5mm it looks like the added width of that tire with stock rim will rub and the height will hit the strut base.
Any tech/info would be greatly appreciated!
Yeah that may be a good size option for max ground clearance.LT 235/80/17 is the size I’m gonna use on my new tremor at 31.8” since Ford Ranger lifts actually states you can use a taller wider tire with their lift. They say you can use a 255/75/17 actual dimensions are 32X10X17 & minor inner fender trimming is required of pinch weld & plastic.
Thanks for the reply! Correct me if I'm wrong but the lift doesn't change the height of the strut base. It pushes everything above it "up" therefore your clearance from floor to strut base and mine are the same no?I am running a 265/65/17, so the overall dimensions are very close. I have a strut lift so my strut is longer to the base. I think the fender liner will be the biggest issue. I can try to get a measurement from the top strut bolt to the spring base. Thanks for the reply! Correct me if I'm wrong but the lift doesn't change the height of the strut base. Again not worried about it fitting in the wheel well as much as the clearance of the strut.
Thanks for your reply!
Ahhhh, there it is. So to be clear, for my application I would want to not go higher than theI have a strut lift so my strut is longer to the base. I think the fender liner will be the biggest issue. I can try to get a measurement from the top strut bolt to the spring base.

Currently I am still running the stock wheels. From what I remember (92.34% chance this isn't totally accurate but it should be close) even aftermarket their aren't many options. But I would not use a wheel with any more backspacing. A wheel with less offset would help. I am considering a thin set of thin spacers to prevent the tires from eventually rubbing through the liner. The other thing I am considering is lug adapters to go to a lug pattern with more options. Especially for lighter wheels. Picture attached for reference as to how these look with the lift and tire poke.Ahhhh, there it is. So to be clear, for my application I would want to not go higher than the

For my question I would need a tire that stayed under the spring base otherwise it would clearly rub.
Second question as it relates to width, what would the max be considering all things the same with offsets (37.5mm stock).
Thanks!
They would rub through the liner because of diameter not width correct? Or both?Currently I am still running the stock wheels. They do look cool & kinda reminds me of the Stomper toy trucks 🛻 I grew up with. I’m going with a LT235/80r17 - 31.8” tall primarily to protect my paint & wheel wells. The weight was similar to the taller - wider 32”X 10” . 255/75/17” due to the 10 ply vs. 4 or 6 ply.Mostly the width, but I really like the widest tires possible. So, I justifie it.
