I want an all season,
I want light as possible,
Open tread blocks if possible,
Super quiet is a priority,
Best hydroplaning resistance,

Cost means nothing to me, within reason, I’d like to stay under a grand.

Penny for your thoughts guys ?
Before the penny vanishes, I’ll feel silly saying, ā€˜Nickel for your thoughts.

Whatcha running that your dead sure you’ll replace with the same tire ?

I don’t need the big tire look but I want to go to 235 wides from my 225/60R 18’s
Just for a bit more rubber on the road.
I got Michelin CrossClimate2 from Costco. They have "open blocks" , in one sense, and are not noisy. Good in snow. If you want a more traditional tire, you can't go wrong with Michelin Defenders.

March 18th I’m going into My Ford dealer.
March sale is Buy three get one free AND an $80 rebate.
The twist is Ford gets the $80 rebate and I get that dollar amount in reward points.

Yesterday I did a synthetic service at 15,000 miles, normally $80.
I had $200 in rewards points so it was free.
So,
This weirds me out, after the Tire deal I’ll have again $200 in rewards points.
So. I’ll hunt a toy or an add on from Ford.
If I can’t find something I’ll get my next two services free.

Then every fifth one is free anyways even with full synthetic oil.
So, the next service is free.
I chose the Michelin Defender 2
Stock size is 225/60R 18
Going up to 235/60R 18

As you can probably tell, I like free shit !

I thought you would get points from Ford on. Tire purchase then get $80 gift card by filling out purchase info on Michelin web site. Also Ford will match purchase price if cheaper found in next 30 days.????

ETA: ok I looked at Ford offer (looks like you have choice $ or points). On Michelin = $80 tire rebate and $20 service allowance or 22,000 Ford Rewards bonus Points on Michelin, BFGoodrichĀ®, and UniroyalĀ®.

My dealer says it takes a while for the $80 rebate so they give me the choice.
I always take the rebates in points.
I don’t have to fill out anything with Michelin my dealer does all that. I don’t do anything.
I like that.
I pull in, we order tires, they show up in the next few days. I make an appointment.
New tires go on in less than an hour.
I’m done.
No bullshit rebate paperwork, no long wait no gift card to mess with.

And yes after the buy three get one tire free I get reward points for the cost of the total tire deal.

Give us an update later on how you like them.
My Continentals are bad in the snow/cold so I swap them for snow tires in the winter which work great.
