  1. Hybrid 12 Volt Battery Crazy Findings

Thanks for the extensive note on your issues. I had my 12volt battery die, mid winter, without warning. So I replaced it with an AGM battery from Ford. My comment is nerdy, and may not be pertinent to the solution. But my understanding is that the Maverick Hybrid does not include an...
  2. Michelin CrossClimate 2 tires fantastic!!

I agree with the original post: CC2 tires work great on the Maverick, and have no noise issues at 5K miles.
  3. Tire replacement time is approaching.

I got Michelin CrossClimate2 from Costco. They have "open blocks" , in one sense, and are not noisy. Good in snow. If you want a more traditional tire, you can't go wrong with Michelin Defenders.

My 3 year old hybrid Maverick was "bricked" one cold morning here in Maine. Now I wish I had replaced the weak OEM battery sooner. I got an AGM from my local Ford dealer, and paid too much. The same or equivalent battery from Amazon or Walmart would have been half the price. But I had an...

  6. VIDEO: TSB 23-2060 Hybrid Grabby Brake Problems: Not Fixed!

I have enjoyed Shay's videos and reviews. I finally got the TSB software update, and so glad that I did. To me, the brakes are now 'normal for an inexpensive hybrid" So, I am satisfied. Too bad ford volunteered all of us for "Beta Tester" duty. Maybe this is why the price was so favorable...
