This is just an example of why... So you build a truck in Mexico. You fill it up to cold psi requirements, then you transport to a hotter environment, that psi is going to climb, you could even add that the sun has been baking it all day, and then you drive it, and it climbs even more. Now, perhaps you live in a cold climate and this chain of events sounds totally wrong for you... In which case, I have no answer other than " just release air and be happy they overfilled than underfilled".

This is normal and zero cause for concern.

It takes a lot of air pressure to get a tire bead to seat onto the wheel at installation. They probably just screw in the valve and move on to the next one.
Edit: the dealer should be the one to check it and correct the pressure before they hand you the keys.

Mine are at 41 but the dealer put Nitrogen in them. Don’t know if that changes things, my last vehicle also had nitrogen and it had higher pressure than normal too at 41

Did they also use full synthetic blinker fluid? :ROFLMAO:

The OEM tire pressure was correct. However, my upgraded 245s Toyos were set at 51 psi ;) Decreased to 37psi

All four of mine were at 42 the morning after I brought it home.

Did he use pure nitrogen? 78% nitrogen is spec...

Ya, some of the Ford dealers here are using pure Nitrogen instead of good old Air (78% Nitrogen). The valve stem cover is green noting that it has pure Nitrogen in it. It is sort of a gimmick and I read that it is useless, but on my Escape I never lost any psi that gradually happens over time on tires with air in them. Take that as you may, I don’t know if that happens to other people with tires full of Nitogen.

I always buy tires from Costco...they use nitrogen also and I have found that temperatures affect air pressure lost with the old aired tires. Not with nitrogen...

The physics equations that define the relationship between pressure, volume and temperature apply to all gasses. 22% more nitrogen isn't going to make any appreciable difference.
