If my trip is less than a 100 miles and i am alone, I'll do 55 mph. If my wife is with me, Ill do the speed limit of 65MPH. If traffic is heavy I'll do what the slower pack members are driving.since I bought the truck I have driven about 79% highway and am getting 42 MPGs over the last 31,500 miles calculated. MPG reading X 0.92

OP created quite a thread!
Just don't impede traffic. Find a slow truck in the slow lane and set the ACC if you got it.

Growing up in the 70s with the 55mph mandate, my dad would mostly ignore it like most people. He'd get pulled over occasionally. Rarely ticketed. Once in Idaho, though, he got citation for going 75 on the interstate. In a car with 4 mostly unrestrained kids and pulling a trailer. The violation's wording? Wasting natural resources. No points on your record.

Well, not applicable to my EB Maverick (68 MPH seems to be the sweet spot for MPG for most of my driving) and doubtful that most other vehicles will respond as you indicate. Even other 2022 EB Mavericks will be different than mine depending on many factors: hills, weather, tires, load. fuel and other things. I'm not trying to challenge your statement so much as make you think of all the factors that influence MPG. Also, does that mean I have to back up in a school zone?

Hum, speed limit signs, well most are ignored by probably the majority of drivers. Love to hear from someone that can honestly say they never drove beyond a posted speed limit sign
