If you can, and you have price guarantee, I recommend sticking with your order. I doubt you find a better value on there market. Also, you could likely flip the thing and make money.

Approaching my 10 month order anniversary. No build date yet.

It's not just Ford. The Chevy Bolt I have a deposit on is taking about 2 months to get to me from Michigan.
Yes- it's just not Ford. Our company work truck from Dodge took 10 months. Just a plain jane truck. My work Transit van took 9 1/2 months. (And those were both ordered Jan of 2021) My neighbor just got his Silverado after 11 months. We have 6 rooftop units ordered at work for projects. They have been pushed back now to Sept from July. It is just nuts.

Sad that you just made the account to bitch about wait times. Life isn't fair.

(I am still waiting from Aug order, btw)
Gotta watch out there, don't wanna be accused of be a fan boy;)
I would be curious to know what the order/wait times are for other car companies:unsure:

Ordered hybrid XLT with luxury and 360 From Long McArthur and Ford confirmed 7-10-21. Received a VIN and build date of 6-27-22 Over 2 months ago. Called to see if I’m getting build this week and now they are telling me build date 8-15-22. That from dealer and ford customer service. That means probably not receiving truck until October. I realize there are constraints but I’ve seen many trucks with the same constraints that people already are driving that ordered months later than I did. Probably no sweat off Ford but I will never buy any new Fords after this fiasco and I’ve bought plenty new Fords over the years. Is anyone else still waiting on a June or July order?
I give business to companies that 1) Produce quality products with good value for the dollar and 2) Offer a great customer experience from start to finish.

If either 1 or 2 are not met, it gives me pause. If neither are met, I’m not a customer. Thus far from my Ford experience, #2 is an abysmal failure and, from what I’ve read, seen and heard so far about the quality, #1 may also be a Fail. If there was another hybrid small truck from anyone else, I’d probably not be waiting in line like I am.

Yes, One year anniversary last Friday of placing order. I was rear ended this past Saturday and car will be totaled so now I have to figure out a gap car situation. Thought I would have truck by now but just hit with some bad luck. Nobody hurt in accident, there is always another vehicle.
Glad to hear everyone is ok. When I ordered I thought I'd have a truck by December. Still waiting.

Yep, ordered a Hybrid XLT w/ Lux and sunroof June 25, 2021. I've tried to be patient but a year is a long wait.
I ordered the same options on mine mid Dec 2021. Looks like I‘m in for a long wait.
Hope you get yours soon.

Wait. You mean that GM and Stellantis are in on this conspiracy to delay deliver of vehicles, too?

The conspiracy gets bigger. Question everything, man. Stop being fooled by the conspirators.

WAKE UP SHEEPLE!

Ford Maverick This Maverick will be my last new Ford 1656471626953

Oh. Yeah. Global supply chain constraints and labor shortages.

Much more logical but no screaming about sheeple. Why do I have to be reality based?

Ford has had a small window of time where they have been the only game in town as far as offering a small pick up truck ( I don’t consider the Santa Cruz a truck). Ford has blown the opportunity. From the numbers I have seen, I don’t think they have even delivered 50,000 Mavericks as we hit July 1. How a multi billion dollar company that has been around for over 100 years didn’t have a plan b , plan c, and plan d is beyond me. You have to think a couple other companies will have small trucks on the market by September 2023 and more after that. What I want to know is how can a company that has been around for an hour, Tesla, keep cranking out so many Teslas? I can’t drive ten minutes without seeing one. They are everywhere now. And no, I am not a Muskothian.

Its the difference of someone managing a company and someone detached from a company. Lots of CEO and upper management are so detached from what is actually happening at ground floor all they see is numbers.
That why Tesla can adapt due to proactive management vs Ford's passive management. I see it in my own company, we have 40+ properties and was bought out about 3 years ago. Not once has any upper management visit our property.
People like to blame a pandemic which is going on three years now and for a good portion on the country was never in a pandemic (state I live in never declared there was a pandemic and never required face mask). Then they blame a supply change shortage which has been going on before covid. None of this is new and with a proactive management would of been dealt with by now. So the only one to blame for these poor performances is Ford, more specifically their management.

Still waiting for the “first” build date on my xlt hybrid lux from July 21. Kinda hoping for a 2023 at this point
Ah, yes, the first build date is the sweetest. It's the third, fourth and subsequent that make you want to never buy a Ford again.

So you shop around and find out that everything else costs way more, and isn't available either.

That's why there are ABC stores.
