Ok, so I'm not exaggerating when I say my 2023 ford maverick shortbed hybrid has been in the shop for over 3 months all together for all the wind noise. I can't even speak on the phone because it sounds too the caller like the window is open. This was a brand new truck and my first new car ever. They've done a bubble test, weather stripping and some other tests and the last place actually managed to make it worse. According to ford this is an
" undesirable trait" with these trucks. This is BS because 1) why would they sell them like that in the first place 2) not all of these trucks have the issue so why do some have it and some don't? What can be done!? I hate driving my truck and wish I never bought it. I will never buy another ford.

That seems odd. I have a 23 Lariat and it is pleasantly quiet on the highway (other than dash rattles).

You will have to isolate the problem by selectively using tape over all seams and gaps until you can isolate the trouble area. Also, check the sunroof closely for a misfit.

They're all short beds. What trim level do you have? Some come with more sound insulation than others.

As for phone calls, if your HVAC blower is turned up very high at all, the phone microphone (located up to the left of the driver in the A-Pillar) is gonna pick up that noise.

Sorry that you have that problem. I have a 23 Lariat hybrid and it's quiet inside. The Lariat has a different front windshield. It has sound screen glass. Maybe that's part of the noise issue? I'm not sure, but good luck.

What happens when you get a big crack or a smashed windshield? And have to get it replaced. Glass replacer dudes aren’t gonna like that!

Just do what I do and drive an all steel '60s truck with no insulation around for a few days. You'll never notice any noise in your Mav. It's all relative, and I'm glad all the modern vehicles I've owned are basically economy vehicles. Nothing quiet to compare to...

Nah, she's a keeper. I'll for sure keep 'ya in mind though if I ever decide to give it away.

Believe it or not, it's actually quieter on the highway with the top off!
