Hi, I’m thinking about ordering the XLT hybrid because it seems like the better value pricing out at 26,300 which includes the luxury pkg, copilot and moonroof.

The lariat I priced out with similar features comes out to 33,395. about a $7000 increase. The only thingsI think I’d be missing are the acoustical windshield, B&C sound, power rear window and led headlights. I think I could do without most of those but wonder if not having the acoustical glass would be a big deal? I could afford to buy either but it seems to me you don’t get that much more to justify a $7k increase. Thoughts?

Well since the Hybrid orders dont open up until August we shall see on what the 2023 models include. On the Lariat over the XLT - The CoPilot 360 is an adaptive cruise with lane centering. The start is a push button fob over a key. The center bed window is powered. It is a Sync 3 radio with upgraded speakers. Different wheels. Dual heat controls, wireless charger, Fake leather interior seat coverings. The different windshield - for me the push to start, nicer interior and the more advanced 360 was the reason I upgraded.

I was looking at the same thing when I was trying to decide what to order. Since you are looking at the lux package for both trims you actually seem to get a lot more add with the lariat trim than you do with the XLT trim for the lux. The lariat also had the activex seats, a key fob with push to start so you dont have to physically put the key in the car and can keep it in your pocket where the XLT does not have that i believe. I haven't heard very good things about the standard speakers either and I know that B&O are high quality. But all of that is really just preference and if they don't matter to you than i'd go with the XLT opted out and save some money. For me it was worth it and I got the lariat with the lux and co360

I think you made your decision on the XLT Lux. And I'm right there with you; to me the XLT Lux is the midpoint in the lineup, considering features/price/overall value.

I guess it also depends on if anything in the Lariat is a "must have". If that's the case, then get the Lariat. After a year or two, you won't think about the "deal" you got, but you'll sure be thinking about the features you wanted but don't have.

For me, my "must haves" are a power driver's seat and automatic climate control (single zone is fine). That makes the XLT Lux the lowest retail trim I'd consider, and it's also the one I want anyway.

Your price comparison is not correct the lux package is not $0 and like others have already explained currently unable to place hybrid order…

I'll chime in. I hear what Redneck Garage says and I don't disagree. Here's how it went for me - I liked the interior, the options, and I could make the payments on the Lariat. Even loaded, it came out cheaper than the other vehicles I was thinking about. Now that I have it, I really like it. My wife and I like it even more than we thought we would. I would do it again.
