I needed to find something I could drive off the lot since someone ran into the back of my other car and totaled it. She had no insurance and was not paying attention. Sad story for a car I really enjoyed, Subaru WRX with a few... mmm modifications.

I managed to be in the right place at the right time and found an Alto Blue, 2.0 FWD XLT with the Lux package, moon roof, spray in bed and tow package. Whoever ordered it originally changed their mind just before I walked into the dealership. I had given up finding a Maverick on a lot and was looking at Bronco Sports.... The salesman is walking me around showing me the Bronco Sports on the lot saying, "We have this one in blue, this one in brown, a cactus grey over there.... that Maverick just came available... the is a white Bronco Sport....." I started going, "Whoa whoa whoa, hold up... let's backup a second."

It had 90% of what I was looking for. Alto Blue is very dark and looks black until you get up close. It isn't as bright as you see in most pictures. I like the color. I drove my truck off the lot a few weeks ago with 12 miles on it and am about to roll into 1000. Love the truck. Feels solid, easy to maneuver, peppy enough to get around traffic.

I'm near Austin. I got my Maverick first week of November. I know there must be others around but I have yet to see one. Love my truck. I ordered a BAKflip Revolver tonneau cover and am impatiently waiting for it to come in.

I put in an order with a local guy here in CC, and I don't think he ever did it (just never got a confirmation from Ford about it). I just kept searching and found one available in SanAn that someone didn't pickup and did that.

Hopefully yours will make it in soon! Haven't seen another in the area yet! Looking for more!
Was it at Sames ? The fleet manager there is an idiot. He argued that there would be no cut off for Hybrids. Claimed he does not submit orders, it is 3rd party (may be true ? I didn't know enough to press this), and he is swamped so I should be patient. This was about 2 weeks after ordering, I drove to Autonation the next day and had a confirmation email from Ford before I got home. The sales manager submitted on the computer right in front of me. Never got a Ford email from my Sames order, although the order supposedly has been submitted.

I bought my XLT FX4 from Platinum Ford in Terrell, Texas. Dealt with internet manager Kevin Pederson all except giving the check to the F& I guy. No set up guy; no sales manager, no market adjustment add on, and no closer. I gave them a $500 deposit but they didn’t even cash the check. Good to buy from.

Weird. I went to Sames initially to learn about the Maverick, and didn't really know that the order line was LONG and crazy. They told me they had some 45 orders, and said a range from 6 to 12 weeks before I could get something if I submitted an order today. I felt like they were dissuading me from making a purchase and didn't like that. So, I skipped out of there.

I went to Autonation, and well, they felt less weird, and I put in an order there cause the guy seemed genuine. Put a deposit down as well. Never got a confirmation from Ford.

The order sat for a couple weeks, and I continued to look to see if I could find an order to snag that someone didn't. And I did. Love this truck.

Now, I am trying to get my deposit back, and after 2 weeks, they said it would be another week. They won't give me back my money, and I am starting to get frustrated by that.

Still haven't seen another Maverick cruising around. I hear there are others, but none to be seen.

I have been stopped a few times for people to look at it.

My parents and I ordered thru Spikes Ford here in Mission Texas. I ordered it on August 2nd but the confirmation of the order was on September 14th. After several emails of rescheduling my Maverick got built, and is now currently in transit to the dealership. I ordered the Cyber Orange Maverick Lariat Hybrid while my parents ordered the Velocity Blue Maverick Hybrid XLT. Both of us only added the Co-Pilot360. My Maverick was shipped on 11/30/21 while my parents was shipped 12/2/21. After reading thru this forum about delivery times. I found someone else I believe in Central Texas area had received their Maverick in about 9 days. Which makes me believe that I'll get mine probably in 10 to 12 days. Hopefully I am right because the estimated delivery time is December 17th to December 23rd. The Maverick is also going to be my first Ford Truck and first Hybrid.

No deposit at either for me, but I think Autonation is the only one that really submitted the order. Sames seems incredibly disorganized. Neither required a deposit, although Autonation was like pulling teeth to get a price commitment in writing. They are shoehorning in a $1000 tint/ceramic/interior protection into the price, I am going to wait until I have a VIN to see if I can't get it removed. If not, it isn't the end of the world and I will join the Farmers Bureau as long as Ford renews the $500 off in Jan to offset it a bit.

I have seen 1 Alto Blue in Corpus, on Airline, guessing it was you.

I have 2 Orders in.

1st October 22nd Sames Ford in Corpus Christi for a Hybrid Lariat Lux in Velocity Blue, with a moonroof. No email from Ford for this order. Sales manager signed an order with me to lock in MSRP, no add ons.

2nd October 28th Autonation Ford in Corpus Christi , exact same truck. Explained to the sales manager why I was upset with Sames over no email, so he placed the order in the system in front of me. Email from Ford in under 30. Sales manager claims "required by all Autonation locations" the add on protection pack - tint, cermaic, and interior damage warranty for 3 years, price is like $1000.

Same, but white. On the train for delivery.
Very nice. Have you received your Maverick yet? Also how long from the day it was shipped to the day the dealership called you that it has arrived? Since I live in the Mission area it should be roughly the same travel time it took yours. Mine is currently on the train and I know there is a way to track it. That info on how to track it on the train is also on these forums, but you still need some info from the Dealership you ordered the Maverick from. Well hopefully it will not be to much on longer before I'll be driving my own Maverick.
