...not sure you could have purchased a maverick lariat hybrid awd with all that comes with it for $20k, even in 2022. Maybe a bare bones xl...that is now $26-$28, not $40K...Depreciation will catch up hard on these over optioned mavericks. The market knows it a 20k truck. I would hate to take that hit.
Did you go to Sycamore Jr High? It would be such a coincidence if you are who I think you are..................I also bought a 2022 hybrid one of the first orders. Have love my truck and what I paid for it.
I prob don’t fit the current Maverick demographic. Female and sixty plus.
Im going to get a 2025 fx4. To tow my boat, get up to the mountains…
Live my best life. Go boomers!
sorry to hear that but it sounds like you ordered the wrong truck.I'm hoping to get my $500 deposit back. I've decided against purchasing the Maverick Lariat with the BAP and Eruption package. While I can afford to pay cash, the final price of around $45,000 (including taxes) seems excessive for this vehicle.
Although it's a great truck, I can't justify spending $45,000. For that price, it enters the territory of vehicles like the Tesla Model Y and Ford Ranger XLT, which offer more value. I'd be willing to pay $37,000, but $45,000 feels like a significant markup simply because it's a hybrid truck. The price difference could buy a substantial amount of gas.
I understand that inflation plays a role, and perhaps the 2022 Maverick was underpriced. However, a price increase of almost $14,000 for the Lariat trim seems excessive. While it might be worthwhile for some, I'll wait for a better opportunity.
I assume granger? let us know if you get it. its no refunds as far as im aware.I'm hoping to get my $500 deposit back. I am not sure how you arrived at your numbers. My 22 Lariat EB AWD with most of the major options available was $33,500. For the same options for my 25 Lariat EB AWD, I am purchasing this Maverick for $35,900. That is only $2400 difference for a nice upgrade with a new design engine, bigger screen, 360 camera system and pro trailer assist package. These upgrades are definitely worth $2400 imho.I understand that inflation plays a role, and perhaps the 2022 Maverick was underpriced. I looked online and couldn't find a single Lariat ,Hybrid, AWD available. Every Lariat that was available had the 2.0 engine. With little effort you can buy a 25 off the lot.
I have dealers calling me to see if I'm interested in trading in. No reason to place an order if you can walk in and even negotiate. Placing one likely results in no discount and low ball trade in because they know how bad you want it.
Maverick party is over.
I'm buying the right vehicle. I could of named any vehicle in that price range. just happened to be those twosorry to hear that but it sounds like you ordered the wrong truck.
worse than that would be actually buying the wrong truck. neither of the vehicles you mentioned are all that similar to a maverick, so it seems like you're possibly not buying the right vehicle at all, if you were to get a maverick.
I'm just comparing the lowest trim to the highest trim.I am not sure how you arrived at your numbers. My 22 Lariat EB AWD with most of the major options available was $33,500. I was responding to your comment, claiming the Lariat trim went up $14,000 from the 22 MY to MY25. When you compare apples to apples, how do you get your numbers? However, a price increase of almost $14,000 for the Lariat trim seems excessive.
