Yup, don't get me wrong its a dream of truck, great gas mileage and does everything you need really in a truck but lets be real, I have a 2006 ford ranger XL that has way more durable plastic on the inside and tbh the vinyl or whatever they used back then has held up very good in the last 20...
the full brunt of tariffs? So, you think the Maverick will cost more money than the Rangers and Explorers? Hmm, it sounds like nobody will buy a Maverick, then. It wouldn't make sense at all. A Lariat Maverick already costs 42,000 literally, nobody is going to buy it at a higher price.
You're absolutely right, the price is indeed attractive and the truck offers most of what someone would need. I actually had a Lariat on order, and when it arrived, it looked fantastic. But then reality hit – $42,000 out the door! Even though I could have paid cash, it just felt exorbitant for...
It's astonishing how disappointing the infotainment systems in the 2022-24 Ford Mavericks are. For a mere $140, I upgraded my 2006 Ford Ranger with a wireless Android Auto/CarPlay system that utterly eclipses the factory unit in the Mavericks.
Don't get me wrong, I enjoyed my time with the...
an old 1970s truck or maverick? clearly
so, I'm just comparing it from the lowest trim, which is essentially the same truck to highest trim. I'm not comparing year to year. I paid 25k for my xlt hybrid. and 33k for a lariat. just comparing 25's
I'm hoping to get my $500 deposit back. I've decided against purchasing the Maverick Lariat with the BAP and Eruption package. While I can afford to pay cash, the final price of around $45,000 (including taxes) seems excessive for this vehicle.
Although it's a great truck, I can't justify...
wouldn't of mattered. still get bad mpg in the winter regardless. very little gain in the winter vs non hybrid. maybe if I lived in a place with a soft winter of 30 degrees.
duluth to Minneapolis and back is 300 some miles.... I think it had time to warm up.. even if I was going 70mph the hybrid wouldn't of helped at all.. it barely helps even going 50mph when it gets that cold.
I just drove north from Minneapolis today in 6-degree weather, 75-80mph, and got about 28 miles to the gallon there and back. Hybrid. I've had the Lariat and Xlt in the past two years; the ride is about the same, but there may be less wind noise with the Lariat. I'm not sure if I want to get a...
After driving both the xlt and lariat for the past 2 years, I can confirm the lariat is really not worth it and tbh the truck isn’t that quality to justify 40k. I have a maverick lariat bap on order but I’m debating on picking it up. Might just wait it out till someone comes up with something...
I’m really starting to regret my decision on the bap. I have an eruption green lariat and for some reason I added that package and I don’t like the hood stripes and tbh the front grill looks better on the non bap. Sigh…. Might just order another one if I hate it.
ordered first day. Eruption green lariat hybrid, bap, 4k. no email. Thank goodness. I already have two mavericks and don't like financing cars so I just pay cash. Went to dealership I suspected would take forever to get one in and I was right. Need time to build cash up
Again
sorry, but they look like the pilot with a bed. the maverick is at least original. I would probably go with a honda if they made anything close to mileage but didn't look like an SUV from the front.
