The name rings a bell and I am assuming you are talking about my time in Burlington. They had balloon festivals. I moved there and n 1996

Congratulations! Or as Joe Walsh used to say - welcome to the club! I ordered my XL from a small town dealer in Bozeman Montana, I must agree that the small town dealers are the best! They treated me really good, no markup, no bullshit, truck exactly as I ordered it with trailer package, sliding rear window, 360 copilot, bed extender, both floor treatments, 400 w inverter mounted in the console 22,900 out the door couldn't be happier. I went with the iconic silver and the standard black cloth/gray interior Good luck and enjoy your truck I'm enjoying the hell out of mine. I'm nailing about 33 miles per gallon in my hybrid overall and I drive like a throttle happy idiot most of the time. So you should do fine.

I could see that would be a problem if you were parked in some romantic spot with your babe and open the moonroof after a fresh shower to heighten the romantic mood while you lean over to get a passionate kiss and Whoosh!

Is there anything "metallic" about the Iconic Silver paint?

What parts of NC? If you don’t mind me asking? Grew up up in the mountains myself of NC now live in the flatlands lol.
I'm in Jacksonville and have had my Maverick for a little over 6K miles, got it in Feb after someone else ordered it and backed out. It's an XLT Hybrid, cobalt gray. I got the call and was the first one there with the money, so I got it. I am enjoying this truck as a daily driver. I have a '19 Ranger for off-road and boat hauling.

Hi to all! I am from NC and will be picking up my white xlt eco in the morning from my local dealer. I know it has been a frustrating time for some, especially the ones that had to have a new vehicle in a hurry. My experience with my dealer has been wonderful. I do have a vehicle to drive so I was in no rush. I ordered in late October. My salesperson was cordial with no pressure. We went through the process with my phone in the show room. No money down and was told the price (msrp) with no formal contract. I received the four progress emails from ford, the latest being on January 30. That email said that it had shipped and should be expected to arrive between 2/27 and 3/5. Well, it arrived yesterday on 2/22 and we scheduled for me to pick it up in the morning. Even though I am not for the order model that we have had to endure, Jones Ford in Shallotte has made it as painless as it could be. Wish all could have had the same experience.
Thanks to everyone who has contributed to this forum. I have been following for a few months and have on order; eBay floor liners, Etsy vinyl letters, front speakers, and a jbl compact powered sub. I actually saw the car carrier with my mav on it at the dealership as I was passing by and wish I would have taken pics!
Congrats! I had the same source for patience in waiting for my Maverick to be built in that I had a 2019 Escape that I was satisfied with in the interim. Ordered my Maverick Jan 2022, the dealer (with my approval) canceled that order and submitted a new one when the next brief order window opened (October, was it?) and I received my 2023 Maverick 2/14/23. The volume of would-be buyers complaining about the production delays are primarily people who HAVE to have the little truck as opposed to simply wanting one. Looking forward to seeing more of your Maverick soon!
