I saw these patriotic letters on a black Ranger, looked awesome. Not sure how the blue ones will pop on Alto Blue, maybe if they had a thin chrome surround they will stand out. I'll keep looking.

No, not really. I like the product but why should I advertise FOR THEM? They have a marketing budget, if they want to pay me to market their product then knock some money off for let's say a 5 year term.

I truly believe that is why they have gone to stamping the brand/model in the tailgate. Unless you cut the metal out and weld a blank piece in or use body filler, there isn't a way to debadge it.

Haven't you ever seen a great looking vehicle and wondered what it was? I have a bunch of times.
Stamped lettering in sheet metal prevents cheap knockoff collision repair panels because the panel makers can't infringe on the logo. So, if you need a new tailgate panel you won't get junk.

Makes sense. Does it give it strength as well?

I would go with a black because it would blend with the black trim on the rest of the truck.

I ordered their red black carbon so will. See how it looks with the dark blue.

Dark colors should usually have lighter contrasting accents. I was thinking of doing the polished steel letters on black until I found out there were black platinum letters available. Now I'm not so sure.

Here is mine with gloss black on area 51.
Got them on ebay for $28.00 cdn and free ship. Cut from 3M vinyl and fit perfect. Needed 2 sets of tweezers to position the letters.

I've posted this in another thread, but happy with how the orange lettering turned out on my Alto Blue. Purchased for cheap on ebay. I'm in Michigan, so it is in no relation to any favorite sports teams. Orange and dark blue just seem to be a solid combo (y)

I'm back and forth on whether I'd want to add lettering since I like the subdued look of the debossed letters. However, when I see a Taco with vinyl lettering on a deboss I also think it looks good. I'm getting an Area51 Mav, so different boat.

For Alto I'm not sure what would work best. Orange would be neat. My designer gut says a lighter blue would look great, though. Here's a color scheme example:

I'm going with baby blue as the color of choice my Wife's color of choice 💙
