Ive used them for 2 sets of letters, changed my mind on coloring. Ive had the first set for 14 months in the south Texas heat and had zero issues. My new set matches my wheels.

Greetings all. Looking at adding the tailgate letters to an incoming 2024 Lariat Hybrid in Terrain. Would appreciate any suggestions on what color you think would look good with this color. Was thinking matte or shiny black would look nice but open to other suggestions. Also a good source for the best lettering would be appreciated.

I went with Carbonized Grey from Tufskinz to match the grill bar an wheels on my XLT.

Thank you all. Ended up going patriotic with these from BDTrims off Amazon. With the blue oval and red taillights I think they will blend nicely on the Terrain color. Laid them out on my tan sofa and the wife likes them. What else is needed..

I would do refelctive Black. It cost a little more but it really stands out an night.

Just to be different. It's subtle and tasteful with just the recessed lettering. No need for stick on decals.

I went with Ford OEM Stainless Steel on my Atla Bule Metallic. Really makes the tailgate "pop".

So did I for my 2023 Area 51. They are high quality, and they are similar to the chrome bezel around the rear Ford emblem. They look great in the sun.

Plus, chrome/polished stainless may come and go as far as the latest style, but it has managed to stay popular on vehicles since when, the 1920's?

Yeah, maybe if the lettering was free right? It's already stamped on there, what's the point? My 6 y.o. doesn't even play with stickers anymore.

Can't think of a mod that's less useful than tailgate lettering. Not too many cars with the model name splashed on the back. Tacky...
