There's an even bigger hole to the right of the spare tire access hole that you may want to look at with the tailgate down.

Thanks all. Yes, I see that hole and ordered a plate off Amazon to cover it. Now that think about it - (it’s my sons truck)-we put 245/60/R18 tires on after getting it lifted. So does that rule out ever using the spare tire? Even for a little bit? I never thought of it. Think the original tires were 235s.

Interesting. Like how it shows use of the d-rings (which aren't standard on '25 XLs) to secure the flat tire.
I saw that graphic a few days ago when I was looking up where the jacking points are, and I got a laugh at how the lashed down spare tire takes up most of the bed!
