Mine does as well. I usually only am using CarPlay and it does it usually only once a song. Often within the first minute of each one. I got the truck at the end of November and it’s done it since I bought it. 24 Lariat Hybrid

It's more that I lack faith in Ford to fix the issue and the assumption that I'd be wasting my time. But look forward to a fix!Poll results have made it clear that this isn't an isolated issue, and based on your comments many of you aren't bothered enough by it to make a dealer trip out of it. The call I received from my dealer today said that issues with warranty rates below 7-10% are basically ignored by Ford. While there's definitely some sample bias involved well more than 10% of trucks are impacted by this.

@Ford Motor Company can/will an SSM be put out for this issue with an ETA on a fix like you did with the dash rattles in SSM 52431? This is a widespread issue with Sync 3-equipped Mavericks and can't be ignored.
honestly, I would be surprised if this is released before the backup camera fix for non-sync3 trucks. no question that's a more critical issue.Hoping they can just fix with an update or something but doesn't seem like there's much hope
Agreed on the backup camera fix. I purchased my Lariat off the lot - I really preferred to get a cheaper xl or xlt but couldn't with the stop-sell. Glad I was pushed into the Lariat for the ACC as that's a game changer on long trips.honestly, I would be surprised if this is released before the backup camera fix for non-sync3 trucks. no question that's a more critical issue.
... I did want to comment on one other thing, though. I switched from Google Maps to Waze around 2 weeks ago to see if that would help.
quite the opposite, actually. waze often totally dies when navigating and pulling traffic data for the next turn or exit. google maps was mostly reliable and would die once one twice per 3 hours of driving (on a long trip). but waze often dies one short trips, and it's always right when it would zoom in for a turn or exit.
no luck here. it's been consistent for me since buying a maverick in june 2022. however, on this other comment I made in this thread I do have an update.Hey OP, any updates on this or fixes? Same exact issue with my 2023 Lariat Hybrid![]()
I have a wireless android auto dongle. I've found that when using Google Maps, it will tolerate the wireless dongle when I'm actually wired in. (of course you do have to be wired during a long trip, because your phone will drain using gps.) Waze will not tolerate the phone being wired and a wireless AA dongle also connected, and that's why it was crashing all the time.waze often totally dies when navigating and pulling traffic data for the next turn or exit. google maps was mostly reliable and would die once one twice per 3 hours of driving (on a long trip). but waze often dies one short trips, and it's always right when it would zoom in for a turn or exit.

It's weird, but if I use Waze only through the wireless dongle it is reliable. Or if I unplug the wireless dongle and plug in my phone, that works fine too.
Waze does seem to have a bug right now that the navigation voice is really damn loud and can't be turned up or down when you use the truck's volume knob while it is talking. I didn't notice this at first because I usually have my navigation set to alerts only (almost muted - it dings if you go off the route and it has to recalculate).
Nothing to report. I opened a claim with the BBB Auto Line, pending Ford's response and arbitration.Hey OP, any updates on this or fixes? Same exact issue with my 2023 Lariat Hybrid![]()
technically AA is only paired with one at a time, but I've never had to unplug the wireless dongle before. What do you mean by " it will tolerate the wireless dongle when I'm actually wired in. " You are using the wireless dongle AND the wired connection at the same time?
So if you are connected to the wireless dongle AND plugged in at the same time you do not have the skipping issue??technically AA is only paired with one at a time, but I've never had to unplug the wireless dongle before.
But Waze crashes a lot if the wireless dongle and phone are both plugged in. I think others have had issues like this with a wireless dongle, it's just pretty inconvenient to have to plug and unplug it frequently.
oh, lol. no it will skip regardless. So if you are connected to the wireless dongle AND plugged in at the same time you do not have the skipping issue??
