Switchback lights - diode or lasfit?

Any major differences between the two? They look the same installed to me.

Lasfit are canbus ready and the DD are not that is the biggest difference. I've read multiple reviews of both of these being installed. Canbus ready prevents the hyperflashing on the instrument cluster. Lasfit doesn't hyperflash and the DD do.

I have talked with them and exchanged emails with them about this. They say yes they are working on that now and they should be coming soon. Now what coming soon means to them, I have no clue. However, they will be canbus ready anti hyperflashing

My Lasfit front turn signals hyper flashed once already.
Had them less than 2 weeks.

For additional context Lasfit leds DO hyperflash - after multiple minutes of blinker being on.
The resistor is rated for a specific load, once the blinkers have been on for long enough they will begin to hyperflash on the dash but not outside of the vehicle, according to lasfit themselves.

"At Lasfit, every T-Series LED turn signal bulb has a built-in Intelligent Temperature Control System (ITCS). The way it works is, if the bulb is left blinking for a lengthy period of time, over five minutes depending on other factors, such as outside temperature, then it will start hyper flashing."

I had it on for just over 2 minutes at the light I have to wait for near me.

Yes mine also will begin hyperflashing when parked at a turn too long ~2-3min depending on the heat of the day. This will also occur with hazards

If you have FORScan you can disable the bulb outage detection and it won't hyperflash.

Yes I agree that if you leave them on for over 5 minutes they will hyperflash on the dash. The DD though will do it the moment they are turned ond for comparison do require a separate resistor. I think I've had the Lasfit do this one time in about a year of operation. I can live with that.
