Yes, a shit ton of people also got that. Mine was in the build process when I got that. Delayed it maybe a week... idk.

My build date was changed five or six times before it finally went into production, it is what it is. Some people are still waiting for or will never get a build date for a 2024, maybe find some solace in that.

Also it might be a blessing since apparently the turn signal recall has resulted in a Stop Sale until it is resolved (see post #118). Might be better for it not to get built until they have the fix at the factory instead of it sitting at your dealer in a back lot waiting for the fix to get done.

I got it and a week later one that says built. That was almost a week ago. Not shipped, probably not really built and waiting for something silly.

I too got the "we're sorry" email. My XLT Hybrid was scheduled to begin production 12/11, but didn't actually go to "production" until 12/20. I expect it will be delayed even more because I have 2 constraint items: hybrid power train and BAP. I try not to get excited about things I have no control over.

Delays like that can be such a headache—I’ve been through it too. One time, I had a project completely thrown off because parts I needed were stuck in transit for weeks. I ended up digging into different sourcing examples to figure out alternative suppliers or ways to plan ahead better next time. It’s frustrating, but having some backup options can make it a little easier to deal with when things go sideways.

That's more info than they ever gave me in the 8 months I waited for my 2024. They just told me every 45 days that they'd get back to me within 45 days.

I'm just glad mine was built the second week of production and is now in QC. I'm hopeful it will be here by the end of December early January. I'm ready to get better gas mileage than what I'm getting now.
