@DrNoobNStein hooked my subwoofer up pretty much like you tapping into the rear pillar speakers. But not much sound coming out of the subwoofer. Any suggestions?

You should have bass and sound down to 35hz. Make sure the sound profile from the head unit is set to All Seats and not Driver. Also check the Balance/Fade is set to the middle. Let me know if this helps

Keep us posted, as I would like to tap the rear speakers signal to run them for a Hi-Level signal to my Alpine mono amp. I'll tap the front speakers if that's the only way to get a full range signal to the amp.
Toddman, I just recently purchased the ELM 327 Forscan adapter from Amazon, purchased the 1 year license and changed the EQ setting to Flat. Makes a huge difference in bass, now I'm getting full range bass sound. So if you're not too keen messing with Forscan, yes just tap the front speaker wire 👍

Awesome man thank you.

So it's ACM module in easy mode then EQ special modes set to flat then save, correct?
I believe that's it, after it was done I was shocked how easy it was. Just to be sure play a YouTube video bass sweep just to verify.

I did it and it shows that it's now set to flat EQ in forscan. Although when I fade to only the back speakers there's no noticeable difference in bass output like at all still lacking base on the rear speakers. I think when I do add my amp and sub I'm going to tap the fronts just to be sure I'm getting a full range signal.

I mean not even one single vibration at all, I know they're only 4-in OEM speakers but they should have at least the slightest bit of base output unless it's being completely cut off.

@Toddman45 saw on another post that the lack of bass from the 4in speakers may be a capacitor that protects it so it doesn’t blow.

Yes I also believe that the be correct it filters out all mid and low bass frequency. Cuz that thing is getting zero bass. In the future I plan on replacing mine with Infinity reference 4x6s

They wont, they have built in crossovers on the stock speakers.

I wouldn't waste my time with 4x6's, just get a solid set of 4 inch speakers. stock speaker is a 4 inch.

@DrNoobNStein Embarrassed to say it was set to All Seats. I was sure I had done this and thought it had to be something more complicated. Big difference. First tune was “Comfortably Numb” which sounded great.

I changed mine to eq flat and now it sounds like what it should. Subwoofer is finally hitting down low.

Thanks for showing us that.
