Outside of the popular CV Axle issue, has anyone had any of their struts, control arms or anything else replaced? At 34k (out of warranty by years), I had to have both front struts replaced along with each control arm due to failed bushings and ball joints. Ford helped on the repair, but I wanted to see if anyone in this small subset of drivers had any similar issues and at what mileage. Thanks!

I think another factor you may want to include for compare - off-road usage.

Are you doing any?

I guess in those Ford Tough commercials of the truck getting air or going fast over bumpy forest service roads - they fail to mention how many items get replaced after that fun weekend.

Zero off-roading and everything stock. 34k in about 3.5ish years of ownership. Its insane that all of this failed so quickly. Originally thought the struts went bad and they might not be loading the arms at curb weight, but with the ball joints going bad it seems like some faulty parts.

The subset has grown larger with the latest “stop drive” recall. Wonder if you’re on the recall list?

Unfortunately my vin is clear. Looks like the original struts and control arms went bad under 35k miles.
