Park Brake, fix it out, software update. Should be able to get fixed and delivery same day.
Yes, my local dealer said the fix date could be end of first quarter (march 31?). very frustrating.

Ford does not appear to have their act together on this recall. I received notice of 25C69 via Ford pass app, with specific direction to contact my local dealer to arrange repair. Contacted dealer. Service writer said not available. Contacted Ford corporate customer service who said 25C69 was in fact available after verifying based on my VIN. Next day I get an email from local dealer customer relations manager telling me the SW is not available for for vehicle and “it’s out of their hands”. Called corporate again who now report the fix is now not available for my vehicle. And new wrinkle, Ford pass app no longer shows ANY open recalls. Ford simply wiped it off the system - like it doesn’t even exist. Idiots.
I got my recall notice for this today - will this require a trip to the dealership or will they upload the software while it’s parked in my driveway? Thanks for your help
It should say in the notice but I'm pretty sure it requires a software updates at the dealership.
I did see a few others comment on another site that their dealership came out to their house and did the software update. I'm hoping I can get that done around me too.
