Hi all,
I've got a 2023 XLT right now and went with a 235/50-18 size tire which I love the look/drive of it. The circumference is 4.5% smaller than the stock tire, and now speedo and odo are both going up 5% high...which is great because 'look how fast I'm going....oh...'

Driving 130km/h = 120-122km/h.

I've been able to change the tire diameter in the main module, however I'm struggling with the 're-learn' to force the next modules to utilize the new reading and can't figure out that step.

Anybody have a step by step (I know this may be very simple for some) of how to force the re-learn to the new tire size for the modules that pull the value off the main?

From Skynet:

Here’s the straight version of how people usually get a 2023 Maverick to sync the new tire size across modules using FORScan:
1. Set the new tire diameter
• Go to ABS Module → Configuration and Programming → As-Built
• Change the tire circumference/diameter line to your corrected value.
• Write it.
2. Write the same value to the BCM
• BCM → As-Built
• Update the tire size entry there to match the ABS value.
• Write it.
3. Run the service procedure
• Go to Service Functions → “TCM/PCM/ABS Reset or Relearn” (the exact name varies by build).
• The Maverick typically uses the “PCM Reset”, which forces the powertrain and cluster to pull all current values from ABS/BCM.
• Run it.
• Cycle the ignition fully off for 30 seconds.
4. Cluster update
• Most 2022–2023 Mavericks pick up the new tire size from ABS after the resets.
• If not, go to IPC → Configuration and confirm it reflects the same number.
• If it doesn’t, write the matching value.
5. Final ignition cycle
• Turn the truck off.
• Open the door (forces module sleep).
• Wait ~30 seconds.
• Restart and test the speed reading.

Would be curious to know if these would also apply to a 2025? I am going to be going from 225/55/19 to 235/55/19 and would like to adjust accordingly.

I have a 2024 Maverick Lariat that's speedometer is off and I can't get anything to change when using Forscan!

My original circumference was 2238 and I went down to 1900 and up to 2500 and it didn't change anything!

I didn't get any codes which I guess is a good thing but it also doesn't change anything?

I'm pretty sure I followed everything above except rebooting the TCM since I can't find that.

When I made the changes, I rescanned and it shows the new value, but again nothing changes on the truck; like I didn't do anything at all.

HELP!!

You would also need to relearn AWD if its 4x4

I use "FTE-Tire Size Calculator - Forscan V5" to set my circumference in Forscan. Make a copy first to save in your Google My Drive. Generally this works for tires that don't go over 29" in circumference. For instance on my truck I set my Forscan value to 2240 that got from the FTE Calculator for tire size 255/45/20.
So for your tire sizes 225/55/19 it would be 2218 and for a 235/55/19 it would be 2251 to start with in Forscan.

Have you done this yet? I'm going to do this also on my 2025 XLT. I'm not to worried about a slight MPH difference. I live in SoCal where everyone rarely do the speed limit anyway.

I haven't yet...just been too lazy to download latest Forscan version and go do what I need to for this, double honk, seat belt minder, and off road screen as well as off road and LOBO modes.

Damn, typing that out might be the motivation I need to get it done sooner than later.
