Trying to calibrate speedometer that's off by 3mph around 70mph. Not that big of deal but it still bugs me. I adjusted the circumference 100mm lower than the stock setting and the speedometer was dead on. Only problem is I get a AWD error p160a. If I set the circumference back to stock and clear the code the error goes away. Anyone else have this problem? Is it not possible to change tire size without getting the error?

Did this have any insight, thinking of the relearn service that sounds like is required for couple modules?

https://www.mavericktruckclub.com/f...change-tire-size-in-forscan.24880/post-475808

Or the whole thread actually.
Hmm, seems they are having the same problem and it seems there's a limit of how much you can change the settings. I guess I could do like one of them did and change a little at a time until I get the error then back off some.

How do you relearn the pcm and abs modules?

Forscan Lite has Service functions that sound like that. Along with BECM reset, TPMS, ect.
Not sure if main program does, but seems like it should.
I think the title was like restart the module, but the details included like relearning something.
So perhaps restart causes a relearn to happen.
Then the modules pull from the main module where you are making the change.

I went from 28.5" tires to 30" tires (tallest that fit at stock height) and mine is only off 1MPH on the GPS, shows 69 on speedo at 70 on GPS. 35 on my speedo is 35 on both my GPS, and Radar signs. Factory speedo was reading a couple MPH fast.

Mine is slow with factory size tires.

I've come to the conclusion the tire size cannot be reprogrammed on this Maverick. I've tried changing it with the computer at Ford, wasn't even an option. Then I tried different sizes with forscan, but get the dreaded awd error code on every try. Oh well I tried. Since I purchased the forscan adapter might as well disable the auto start stop feature.
