Can anyone with a 2023 XL AWD Ecoboost w/360 package confirm if the spare is a donut or if it's the "full" size tire with stock rim?

We had some work done on our Maverick and swear the shop swapped out the spare but we could be wrong.

Standard spare is a donut no matter what options on an XL AWD. You would have had to opt for the optional "full size" spare for the extra $115 or whatever the cost was

I believe the 360 package only gives you the full sized spare on the hybrid.

Did think this deserved its own post, but DO NOT raise or lower the tailgate with the rod to crank the spare tire up or down. The rod is fine with the gate down or up, but I made the mistake of raising the tailgate while the rod was inserted and was rewarded with a nice gouge.

Good to know. Thanks for letting us know.

My advice is to let Ford send you a donut and order a steelie or buy one from an owner who replaced theirs and put a full sized tire on, as the "full sized" spare does not come with a full sized tire. I'll use my donut in an emergency and will use one of my snow tires set, when I get home and wait for a new tire.

Before you order your new "full size" tire remove your spare and measure the distance to see the maximum diameter tire that will fit underneath between the rear collision tire ripper teeth and the rear crash bar. If you have a hitch you will have about 1/4" less room for the spare than without the hitch. One solution is to buy a matching USED tire with less tread say 2-4/32"!

Yea I'm curious if a 245/65R17 will fit up there. I'll have to wait to test it unless anyone already has?
