Dont forget flippers require buyers. Impatient, uninformed, lucky enough to not care about the $$$. The mentality of the general consumer mass baffles me.

also, not sure if you ever bothered to look at the link, but I don't see a single ecoboost that sold for over msrp and these prices on hybrids are far lower than carvana, vroom, hell even your typical Ford dealership.

The people getting screwed aren’t the 2nd willing party, they are the ones who are waiting on their truck that they ordered.

agreed. every single person is capable of ordering a truck. from multiple dealers if it pleases them. if supply is constrained, prices will be higher.

I got 2 trucks last year. I possibly wouldn't have gotten both if they were hybrid, but it's not my fault that I want & need an ecoboost.

Agreed. Supply issues have distorted the market, but there will never be infinite supply. In fact, this issue didn't even exist back before they offered custom ordering. All you could do was buy off the lot or see if the dealer could find one at another dealer somewhere and get it transferred over.
