Looks like the plate that covers the screw next to the door lock.

Oops. It must be because you used the passenger door. I’m sure if you read the manual it probably says that door is just decretive and not designed for actually use

Found this on the floor and had to figure out where it came from. Weird it fell off so easy.

Was your front passenger window open the last time you drove it? May have flown off of the Santa Cruz you were driving behind, and landed inside your cabin. :-J

If it is broke, it’s covered under warranty. Just make an appointment, that will be in 7 to 10 days. Drop your car off at 7am. Pick up at 4 pm. Let the service manager tell you the part is on back order and should be in, in 4 weeks.

Set up a 7 am appointment in 4 weeks. Pick up at 4 pm, and hope they did not scratch your door.

Go to the dealer, test drive a Maverick. While test driving, switch parts. Only one dealer visit 👍

Oh god, this is so accurate. I mean you left out the part about how 4 weeks turns to 10 weeks, they never follow up, and they definitely scratched your door.

I'd shop for this part and replace it myself, personally. Can't be more than a few dollars. Dealers are too prone to breaking shit during repairs.
