You would not put a plow on a Maverick anymore than you would put one of the front of a minivan, it's best just to pay someone to do the job who has the equipment, it's much cheaper in the long run.
Didn't the Little Johnston's have a video of pulling a tree over with a Ranger or ?

You can't teach common sense to someone who doesn't have it.

The Darwin awards were created for this reason.

This thread needs to die.

U right , but the right tool mean buy a bigger truck , that cost min 12k more plus the right plow that cost another 3/4k , so just to clean 2 small driveway 1/2 times a year the right tool cost 15k... is the right tool worth? Or a system ( back plow ) of 1k can do the same job in maybe 10 minutes more ?
If you are worried about money for so few times I have a solution - No damage to the truck and super inexpensive as far as options go - your welcome

Can't leave fuel in a snowblower over winter - it ruins your carb. True for almost all small engines but I've never met a snowblower that won't eat a carburetor if left to sit with a tank of gas.
You can purchase fuel without ethanol or buy Trufuel at Home Depot or Lowes.

I put Lucas fuel treatment with injector cleaner in all small engines. Mowers, Polaris ranger, chain saws, generators with reg 10% alcohol gasoline and quite a bit more in my Ford 1986 1210 diesel tractor (works as anti gel and keeps water dispersed. Never winterize and never have problem. Try to fire everything up every 2-3 months for 5 minutes or so.

That's fair. I've run my Honda snowblower empty for the past 18 years and it still fires up like new every winter.

I've been leaving fuel in my mower and snowblowers in the off season for 15 years. Never an issue when the next season hits.

hello everyone ,
i would like to have an info ,
i have read that the maverick isnt made for snow plower ,
i have ordered the 2024 model , still it the same ? or they changed something ?

i just need to plow my driveway and my parents driveway , nothing crazy .
i have seen that they made small snow plower for front hitch , is that possible install the front hitch ?

last question , i also have seen the rear plower for the hitch , the snowsport 180 utility plow , anyone have tryed ?

thanks a lot
I seen a Honda Civic with a plow and dual wheel on the front. I guess just about anything is possible but does not always mean it is a good idea.

Just an FYI from a metallurgist who has with some knowledge of fatigue in gear steels, almost no consumer truck is really designed for snow plows. Very hard on any transmission. Especially the part where you hard stop against a curb or packed pile. Sure, you can do it. Is it worth it? Depends on your situation.

Most have a fuel shutoff valve. Just use it and let it run out the fuel in the line. I think most equipment made after 2000 will be designed with ethanol gas in mind.
