I haven't found anything in the forums or online about this. Does the Maverick sound system have Sirius-XM in it. I have a life time subscription to it and would love to switch it over to my Maverick if it ever gets built.

XL and XLT you will have to use the App , either use USB wired or get a wireless dongle , which is what i use . Lariat has sync 3 which has it built in the system.

Yeah, only the Lariat has it built-in.

I use wired CarPlay and have decent luck using the SXM app. It's nowhere near as handy as a built-in SXM radio, but I no longer have ANY vehicles with satellite radios, and the app works well enough that I kept my plan and just changed it to streaming-only to save a few pennies.

VAIS has a kit that works with the XL/XLT system and screen. I've had it installed for a few months with no issues. It's a bit pricey, but works better for me than the app.

I've had SiriusXm in the past 5 vehicles but those had either factory sat radio or I added an aftermarket kit. I've been using the SiriusXM app paired with the wireless Android Auto dongle (Motorola MA1) since April 2023. The app is terrible. Unless you have a solid 5g cell connection, it lags, buffers, stops and displays "SOURCE ERROR". It's maddening as it happens at least 3 times on my 12 mile commute to work.

The aftermarket add on kit is basically an antenna, tuner, integration interface and associated cables. It adds the SiriusXM input on the USB input. I'm seriously thinking about shelling out the $350 for the kit as I only listen to sat radio.

As it turns out since we have a SiriusXM membership on our Audi Q5 I get a free streaming SiriusXM app for my Iphone to use in my 24 Maverick. Can't beat that that. Apple Carplay mostly works in my pickup.
