I kept looking at my Mav's tailgate and how the black trim wrapped around the truck - but didn't flow across the lower tailgate. So - I ordered 2 inch decal tape from EBay and did it myself.
To me, the look is better and Ford should just do this to all Mavs. It is a cleaner look.

After about 5 minutes playing Where's Waldo I figured out what you did. I'm proud of myself for sticking it out.

Now that I can make an informed commitment I'm not really for or against. But I voted No.

That's ok Tim - my son thinks I shouldn't have put the tape stripe on either - but he drives a Silverado so I'm not sure how I value his opinion!

Looks good but do you have a side by side? It would also help from boot scuffs from climbing on the step bumper.

Looks nice and flows good.
6 of one, half dozen of the other for me.

I voted "no" only because Ford gave us an "incomplete" truck from several aspects and that let's us mod it to our hearts content.

Good on you for exploring options! I think it looks good but not what I want for my truck (if I ever get it).

I voted no only because the vinyl doesn't match the plastic. A matte black would have blended in more.

My vote was no just because it’s something else to make your truck different and custom 👍

Meh, for me if it doesn't match 100%, then it's a no. And the fact that even if they used a decal that matched the black plastic 100% when new, it won't fade the same way so it will eventually become different. So for me that's a no. I am not a fan of when they try to blend two things that are just a little bit different. I'd rather complete contrast or a perfect match, but never a "sort of" match... lol
