Has anybody else been keeping up with tracking their rail cars? Mine (TTGX983662) has been stuck at “Departed ALS Connection, Illinois” for over 24hrs now. According to my window sticker my final ramp is Wayne, Michigan, so it’s making me nervous that there actually is a shipping delay.
I’ve been tracking mine constantly as well. Was at the ALS connection on Tuesday and departed Wednesday. I’m currently sitting in Louisville since 12:00am yesterday :(. Hoping she gets moving today. My ETA is still saying it will arrive in Florida rail yard on Monday morning.

I’ve been tracking mine constantly as well. Was at the ALS connection on Tuesday and departed Wednesday. I’m currently sitting in Louisville since 12:00am yesterday :(. Hoping she gets moving today. My ETA is still saying it will arrive in Florida rail yard on Monday morning.

Since I was contemplating the amount of time my truck will take to get to North Texas (Wichita Falls specifically) I decided to look for rail maps. I found this for UP rail map.

Union Pacific Railroad Map - ACW Railway Company

It looks like my truck will go from Hermosillo to Nogales to Tuscon then on to El Paso, Odesa, and finally to Fort Worth to get on a truck for the 2-hour drive to Wichita Falls.

CSX tracking now says that my rail car (TTGX983662) has a status of “hold” at Gateway Yard, Illinois. Does anybody else have any experience with this? Any idea what it means?

Interesting your truck is going to Nashville and not Birmingham. But I guess for Woody Anderson, it really is six of one and half dozen of the other.
I thought so too. Nashville is an hour further from here than Bham

CSX tracking now says that my rail car (TTGX983662) has a status of “hold” at Gateway Yard, Illinois. Does anybody else have any experience with this? Any idea what it means?
My truck is on the same train. The Gateway Yard I can find is north of East St. Louis, Illinois, and is a rail car repair facility. Maybe they found a bad wheel, brake, or something else that needs to be repaired before the train can continue. I was also told that those air lines that connect between the cars frequently go bad and need to be serviced.

Awesome. Thanks for sharing. My dealer is being very shady so I’m trying to stay on top of tracking and make sure I know when to expect my Maverick before it gets sold out from under me. I really appreciate all the help from everyone who has respond to my questions in this thread.

My dealer just emailed me yesterday as my truck is in production. She said rail delivery was previously 24 days from shipment to dealer now states it is 37 days. Obviously your location may be different, mine is to Northern California, Sacramento. So yes some sort of delay is happening

So after a couple of days of getting "no status" on my rail car # from CSX, I called Ford Marketing again to confirm my rail car #, they told me mine is also at the "Gateway" yard. Then, just for kicks, I called the UP tracking number, which gave me an expected delivery to the Chicago area on 1/21. Then the transfer to my dealer begins,,,,

Where I live has a good-size UP Auto yard, so they may handle some east of the Mississippi too.

I just called CSX and the tracker is saying that TTGX983662 has been “returned to rail” at ALS connection in Illinois. Hopefully that’s good news for us!
