Shipping Delays

I've searched the forum but I have not seen much in the way of shipping timeframes. My Maverick was built on Jan. 27th. The WS says it will be shipped by rail. The truck is STILL waiting to be shipped. I'm going on 4 weeks now. I hear from others on MTC that their truck was built and immediately gets shipped. The Ford order tracker says "arranging shipment to your dealer and could take a few days to a week.". Well, that's a lie. I've called Ford and they have no additional information. Of course, I've only been waiting for 489 days now. Patience.
What is the typical experience? My truck is to be shipped east to Delaware. I wonder if my dealer location has something to do with the delay.

Could it be waiting at the body shop for a constrained option? There are some things like the spray in bed liner, mud flaps, bed covers, etc... that require a stop at the body shop after assembly.

So it's already done it's trip on the railroad from what you've said correct?
Asking because of East Palestine, Ohio.

It really seems to vary. My truck was built on 1/12, went to the "mod shop" for bedrails and returned the same day...then sat without "Built" being checked until 2/4/23. Then it finally shipped on 2/9 and is supposed to be here 2/25.

My truck has not left Hermosillo yet. It could still be in the body shop I guess, although it says arranging shipment. I also think the mess in East Palestine is not helping things.

Ah ok. It's still in Mexico then. Hopefully it's gets out of there soon for whatever reason it's delayed.

Mine was built about the same time. I picked it up yesterday. I’m in maine

Mine took 41 days to ship, just luck of the draw I think. Get your truck pulled out from the factory and put in a back row and you'll wait for a bit.

Congrats. If anything was going to go wrong with shipping it would be with my Maverick. They probably lost it or misplaced it. Maybe someone stole it! who knows. I asked Ford chat. They know nothing. I'll try my dealer.

Crossed into US 12/9

On rail car for 81 days so far. Dealer says it is sitting at Portland railyard. No other information available.

Mine got to the Nogales, AZ on Feb 16th but no update since.
Anyone has same delay/issue? Are they switching the rail car / rail company there?
My dealer is in Greater LA area (California)
(Or have any idea where its going next?)

Likely transferred to Union Pacific and then over to Mira Loma. That was the path mine took from Nogales.

Hopefully, you get an update soon. My Chapman Ford Horsham order was built 1/27 and as of 2/17 was in New Castle DE. Sorry for your delay.

Has your status changed to 'released to shipper'? I think Tim said average transit time to east coast is about 4 weeks once shipped. Does your dealer show a railcar number?
