UPDATE: Took the Maverick to a different Ford dealership last week. They did feel the shake and set up contact with Ford engineers.

Dealership called me back to set up an appointment for drop off and loaner pickup. They said they’d need to have it for a while for testing. Said they were going to hook it up to an “Electronic Vibration Analyzer - EVA”. Dropping it off this afternoon.

UPDATE: Well it seems we may be getting closer to a resolution. Ford dealership performed the vibration testing but said it was inconclusive. The mechanic checked it all over himself and concluded it is a bad front axle. Ford engineering agreed so parts have been order and received.

Taking it in on June 1st for repair to be made.

If you still have the same issue after the replacement, have them check the case bushing. I still haven’t replaced mine because I’m trying to get Ford to look at it/document it. I have an appointment soon and will provide an update.

UPDATE: I picked up my Maverick yesterday and all seems to be fixed. I’ve attached pictures of the parts that were replaced. I hope this helps someone.

First CV Axle issue started at 3000 Km and the dealer detected the issue at 4000 Km. The dealer changed of the driver side the cv axle, the bearing and all the piece the piece that houses it .

Ford Mexico says that its an isolated case.

My truck remains in the shop due to a knock sound in another place while doing parking maneuvers. This Its the 4th time in the dealer because relationated issues

Ford Mexico close my report for second time

Now I'm searching with Ford and the dealer make me a refound of my truck to change because its a security risk. And it no longer gives me security due to the issues presented.

How hard is it to take the wheels/tires off and put them on speed balancer. Hell, take them to town fair tire or something.

Did they over torque the axle nut or cross thread it on there
