Sensitive parking brake?

Why is it so sensitive? If I’m on a very slight incline or decline it wants to automatically go on. If I pull into a parking spot to do a three-point turn it wants to turn itself on. If I turn into a side street or neighborhood or anything that’s not even on an incline it wants to flip itself on. It’s incredibly annoying. Probably one of the worst features of this vehicle. Probably goes right along with the over sensitivity of the pre-crash assist thing always telling me that it’s not working every morning. What the hell is going on

I don’t have it on. On the XL you have the little button next to the hazards

I've never had any issues like that with mine. The parking brake only come on when I set it myself and only releases when I use the button to release it.

This is either user error or there is an issue with your truck. You should make an appointment with the local dealership to have it checked.

I scheduled an appointment with the dealership. They said it should not act up like that

I have had mine set by itself, but only when parking on an incline & then only after put in park, which I believe it's designed to do. If it's doing it when you are actually parking there is an issue.
