This is what I have figured out for the bed box. It will stick out the back of the truck about a foot and a half, I'll put some reflectors on it just because, maybe a flag so I don't walk in to it...
The Landing Pad 1 fits the Elevate rails, the Skyline towers fit the Landing pad 1, the round bar adaptors will let me use my existing round bars.
*I wanted the Pulse Alpine box but it would stick out nearly 2 foot 6 inches.
I'll be in it for about $1300 with tax.

so you took your truck bed, covered it, then put an even smaller bed on top making it super hard to get at anything in bed? i feel like anything in that rack could fit in the back seat and you could use the truck bed as a truck bed.

IDK, I could see adding something similar to haul things that don't 100% fit in the bed (eg. a large mattress, would probably pop off the rack). I think you could put a decent amount of weight on something like the Truxedo CT covers as well, but IMO this would feel less dodgy.

That tow cleat hanging off your hitch looks pretty cool, any details? :)

Hmmm.... I have two kids. Where would they sit?

@Daverick - I might’ve missed it, but what tonneau do you have?

Thank you! Yes, it's just a pretty standard shackle but I found out after getting the XLT that orange is one of my favorite colors now, so I splurged and got it. I haven't towed or been towed by it; it's there to give my bumper a couple inches of protection when in a parallel parking situation.

@Daverick, I really like it. I have been looking into something like that. It's perfect, esp budget wise. The only downside is it will block the rear facing dash cam.
Have you thought about a slide out tray?

So I set out on this quest to make a bed rack that could be installed simultaneously with a tonneau cover.

First I picked up the Elevate TS Rails that come with 4 cleats included. The Truxedo website sells for $190 but I found it new on Amazon for $135.

Then I found a set of 74" crossbars with towers intended to be used as a roof rack for cars with factory rails for $50 on Facebook Marketplace. I cut 10 ½" off of each crossbar and mounted them to the cleats from the Elevate system.

Lastly I picked up the HaulMaster cargo carrier from Harbor Freight for $100 and threw it up top.

All in for under $300 when the Ford option is over $500 and does not fit with a tonneau (or include a cargo carrier).

Removal is as easy as loosening the acorn nuts on the cleats and sliding the whole assembly off of the TS Rails.

This option actually works with or without the cover. The only downside is that I can't fold open the tonneau with it installed, but that's what arms and hockey sticks are for.
Love the look of this, thanks for posting!

I have the OEM Ford Hard Rollup cover and was looking at the TS Rails too. So the rails was sandwiched between the bed and Tonneau cover. Did you have to gap fit for any leaks? Also was there any issues with getting the tonneau cover pushed in 1/8-1/4"
