I have the trifold from Ford and like it, however I also have a cargo box over the bed, no way to fold it (see picture).
What do you like in a hard roll up?
I'm considering getting a roll up tonneau cover, I have a cargo box for skis about 4 inches above the tonneau cover and It can be a pain if a case of beer slide to the front... :)
I love mine but remember I'm in Minnesota, so I get some spray in to the bed from the car wash. So the rug (where the tailgate goes up and down) makes some crackling noise when I open the tailgate. I'm going to add some water seal to the top of the gait and the sides.
My quiver includes skis 156cm, 160cm, 176cm, 178cm, and 180cm. I installed a rack system on the bed rails.
Total was about $1200.00 but it was so worth it.
It's winter here in Minnesota so my mileage has taken a hit as is usual with any vehicle. I went from 28.X to 27.X but it's normal, low air moisture reduces the compression so fuel economy goes down. The addition of the rack did make the mileage go down by about 7 tenths.
I've only had it on a couple days, a couple weeks on the road and I might see something. I've been averaging 29.3 MPG with just the bars on so I might lose a little. Because it's below the top of the cab I'm guessing I'll be hitting 28.5 MPG.
I put the TruXedo Elevate TS rails.
Yakima Landing Pad 1, Skyline Towers, and Round bars (had them).
Put the roof rack bike racks on and it might clear the garage door.
I had Yakima round bars so I did this.
I have the Ford tri-fold tonneau cover.
