Not sure who is complaining about the seats, but no problems here. They are hands down the most comfortable seats I've had in a vehicle. (XLT)
Well I'm in an xl myself and these ones are definitely not that comfortable. Not the worst I've had but far from the best. The worst part being that they don't recline all the way

No complaints with my xl seats. Just as comfortable as our Subaru outback’s seats.
Interesting cuz I was just comparing my xl's to the seats I gave up from my Impreza and these are not nearly as comfortable, especially since they don't recline all the way. Not the worst things in the world but noticeably less comfortable for myself, but I am also on the larger framed side haha

I have read and saw several comments about the uncomfortable seats. Are the seats in the Lariat better (more comfortable) than the XLT? We take long trips and average 10-11 hours so the seat needs to be comfortable
I find the XLT Seats very comfortable certainly compared to my 2020 Colorado I just replaced with my Hybrid

If I were facing 10 to 12 hour drives on a frequent basis... I'd have a seat shop trash the Maverick seats in favor of Recaros with massage function. Recaros are amazing seats, and have been for decades. But you need a few thousand dollars if you're replacing both seats.

Keep the Maverick seats in the garage, and reinstall them when you replace the Maverick. Recaro makes adaptors for almost any car. I know people who have 30 year old Recaros that they've installed in a series of cars.

I installed Recaros in my 1993 Mazda RX7 R1. Best move I ever made car-wise. Well, second best move. Best move was buying three Miatas.

This response right here is why I was reading the entire thread. I have been trying to find aftermarket seats to replace this with, specifically ones that I could swap back out when I get rid of the truck. And for some reason googling results has been very ineffective so thank you for this reply, I'mma look these guys up right now

Weight and body composure plays a part in seat comfortability. If you're severely overweight, nothing is going to be comfortable compared to someone is is average weight.

Ive managed to sit in one maverick so far, an overpriced FS XL that was titled but had 650 miles on it, traded back in perhaps. The seats seemed plenty comfortable to me but obviously that was a very short time. I am 6.0, 190 and fit just fine. It was nice to sit in one though and feel out the interior space and layout in real life while I wait on my order. The dealership will not allow any customers to sit in the retail/special orders coming in. Which is a good thing IMO

Thanks, I am only 5'9 so that shouldn't be an issue for me. More concerned about the cushioning
I'm about the same height (5'10) and although the longest ride I've taken so far was a little over an hour, I found the seat to be very comfortable (XLT).

I think the seats in my XL are just fine. Then made them even better with Wet Okole seat covers. For those not in the know, Wet Okole is premium wet suit material with 1/2 inch of padding added.

I'm fairly tall, over 6' and I spent a couple of days in a Maverick. I will say that if you're taller, the seat bottom is pretty short so your upper legs hang off and the seat bottom doesn't give the greatest leg support. I was pretty disappointed by that but I won't be using the Maverick for long trips so it doesn't matter to me. That being said, the seat does adjust back far enough for adequate leg room and the steering wheel telescopes far enough out, it's just the seat bottom that is too short.
True statement.

After four months, my view is that the seats in my $20K truck are more comfortable than the seats in my $50K car.

I own a Lariat and am 5' 8" tall. The seats are comfortable size wize. The only issue I had was the surface being a bit too hard. After installing a set of neoprene seat covers all is better. Just enough cushion. I only with the passenger side was electric for my wife.

seats in the lariat are def more comfortable but i still find the seats overall a big downgrade from my previous vehicle a chevy equinox which also was a big downgrade from my silverado before that, you sort of get used to it though.
