People will be extra sandy about this picture, but who do you think has more pull and more appeal to Ford? Companies that order dozens, hundreds and even thousands of vehicles or Joe Schmoe customer who orders a vehicle every few years?

I'm sure fleet vehicles aren't even (heavily) discounted anymore, either.

Well maybe thats what the new 3rd shift at the Mav plant will be working on? My local NAPA auto parts store ordered 4 way before they shut down the MY22 order bank and still hasn't got them. No telling how many NAPA corporate has ordered total. I see alot of pest control companies driving them locally here. I would assume there's dealer lots all over the country like this one. If ya think of all the fleet customers nationwide I dont think Ford will have to worry about needing more orders

Don't be too sure. No payment, low property tax and insurance, Old geezers love old Rangers. My grandson and I have a game spotting rangers. Surprisingly easy considering when they were last built
Last built 2012 and all 2012 were fleet vehicles

I (among many others) got a Maverick to replace an old Ranger. I would have kept the Ranger, but a cheap hybrid small pickup was just too tempting to pass up.

There are also a lot of white XL eco-Mavericks at PHX dealers and have been for awhile. So, once the backlog of fleet orders has been satisfied (those buyers more important than you or me) there will be some more capacity for retail orders. Right?

I am fine with what I have for awhile and in no hurry. I'll get an XL Maverick in some color when there are dozens sitting on various Ford dealer lots and after the fed has raised the prime rate another point or two. There will be plenty from which to choose.

Ford history will show that two years after the spring '64 introduction of the Mustang that Ford was producing more Mustangs (coupes especially) than they could sell. There were discounts, sales, specials, etc. Just wait.

Long McArthur had 3 transport trucks arrive at the same time on Tuesday with 10 Mavericks. Sounded like they were all customer orders.

Ford is a B2B operation. We just get what's left.
