I live in the mountains and the snow is starting to melt so that means mud session. after 48 hrs of having it the once that came with are not ideal. witch i knew was the case.
ideally they would have sides to keep in the snow and mud.
so post your recommendations ...
cheers

I have posted several photos of the mats. They are a bit dirty but I do clean the truck on a regular basis. It is my daily .I was looking at those too.
how do they feel under feet?
Do they have a crazy plastic smell?
can you post a pic of how they look in your car?
the more i look into the Tuxmats the more I like em. At 1st i did not like the look but it's starting to grow on me. they are in the top 3 for sure.TuxMats.
It's not even a contest anymore. Once you get them you'll never get anything else. The knock offs of the same material don't have the same coverage and neither do any of the other brands. The harder plastic ones have gotten cheaper and cheaper so you are just paying for the name now days. Plus, they leave tons of gaps in coverage and you are constantly having to remove the liners to vacuum underneath and in between those gaps. TuxMats just covers it all. As others said, those cheaper made plastic ones also get slippery. Some brands offer a more rubberized one, but again, you are compromising on the coverage.
After having one set of TuxMats for a previous vehicle, as long as they offer them in the same material and amount of coverage across vehicles, I'll get them every time and I'll gladly pay for that name brand as they are the only ones worth doing so.
If your goal is to save money and you don't care about actual coverage, there are some brands that offer a similar material. Personally I'd rather recommend those than any other of the harder plastic variants, or just get an actual rubber mat. Rubber is getting harder and harder to come by now days, and it's expensive too.
haha yea. It's pretty common from those of us that have TuxMats to give them high praise. You'll see it often on these posts. Pricey, but they are great. I was like you too and wasn't sold on them but once I did get them it was like someone turned a lightbulb on for me lol.the more i look into the Tuxmats the more I like em. At 1st i did not like the look but it's starting to grow on me. they are in the top 3 for sure.
just got the truck just pick up a tail gate pad for the mountain bikes and need a good Tonneau cover. so it's all about getting quality but not blowing $$ either. it's a fine balance.
thanks for your feedback. I have read a few other post from you about these floor mats, you're a big fan.![]()
Put my Husky WeatherBeater mats on top of factory mats on 2024 XLT Hybrid, (helps on road noise I think), great fit, great value, this might be a stupid question but are you guys leaving in you factory mats and adding these over top OR swapping them out?
