Rugged all weather floor mats recommendations plz. :)

Hey Mav. family, new Mav. owner here and I am looking for a nice but cheap-ish all weather floors mats. I live in the mountains and the snow is starting to melt so that means mud session. after 48 hrs of having it the once that came with are not ideal. witch i knew was the case.

ideally they would have sides to keep in the snow and mud.
so post your recommendations ...

The Tuxmats have the best coverage (high sides and extend under the seats). They also wipe up to new clean when I'm at the carwash. I've had them 4 months and very happy with them. They were not cheap.

Smart liners from Amazon work well the rear mat is one piece and a bit bunchy over the hump but I cut a hole for the FITS trash can to keep it from sliding around. They were $60 less than the Weather Tech's.

TUXMATS ONLY-unless you want dirt falling to the sides so you have to remove them all the time-had OEM and they sucked,TUXMATS go ALL THE WAY UP THE SIDES(I kept the rear OEM and got FRONTS ONLY

thanks for the pics. are there glue tabs you have to use to keep the sides up?

They come with a lot of clips. But I didn't use them. I just tucked the sides under the edge of the Maverick's trim pieces. My goal was to see zero carpet.

how do they feel under feet?
Do they have a crazy plastic smell?

I was going to say - right away - that you can't beat Weathertech. Then I read your word "cheap-ish," which Weathertech AIN'T. Good luck, there are a LOT of cheaper mats out there. P.S. I am on my 10th or 15th set of Weathertech mats. HAVE ANY OF YOU NOTICED HOW THINNER (READ "CHEAPER") WEATHERTECH HAS GOTTEN OVER THE LAST 30 YEARS? I suspect that their next edition will be Saran Wrap.

They feel fine under my feet. They don’t have a plastic smell. They fit very nice, custom fitted. I can post a pic later when I get home. I’m at a car show today.

Absolutely Tux Mats!!!!!! I have them in my Mav. They fit perfect, with, or without the additional clips. Full protection that includes the high side walls and extra flap that goes under the seat. Clean up is great. They feel great with No strange slippage. They also look great and The price is in line with other good quality mats.
