Keeps the muck off of the body. I don't understand those who want to sand blast the paint. Aside from that, this brand driver side flap seals up the huge factory gap that sends the crap up into the light fixture. Buy both and you decide. Plastic vs. polymer

These aftermarket splash guards look less sturdy than the Ford OEM ones.

Also the price being higher compared to the Ford OEM ones doesn't help.

Rokblokz has mud flaps for the Maverick: $149.99

Compared to Ford's:

Item #Description
Qty
NZ6Z-16A550-AAKit - Mudflap

NZ6Z-16A550-BANZ6Z-16A550-BA

Total shipped from Fairwayfordparts.net was $94.42

I used 18884 FordPass points so my actual cost was zero.

I also like the Ford emblem on the rear splash guards.
Not all branded parts are the best. I had both. Check the driver's side flap. Which one prevents the water and muck from traveling up into the light fixture? You decide.

The Ford OEM flaps work exactly as designed as they keep muck/rocks off the outside of the truck which is what they are meant to do.

Funny how you seem to justify paying $60+ extra for some maybe, might happen, who the heck knows problem that may never happen with the Ford flaps.

So yes I have decided: The Ford Flaps.

I honestly can’t decide between those either. No build date yet, so I have time.
I’m currently leaning towards getting the Ford ones, then 3D print something to fill the gap.
I do prefer the Ford logo over the RB. And of course the cheaper price.

No maybe…it HAS happened. Search for some threads talking about the massive expanse in the drive red rear wheel well. How there is no protection and water/debris/everything gets thrown into the tail lamp and how water seeps underneath it which can let it sit and rust, etc

Just installed a set of these. Very smooth to put on. I did not have access to a lift. Seem very sturdy and ready to do the job.

Have had mine installed for over a month by now and really happy with them. I think they do a good job blocking some winter salt and slush in Michigan. I bought them using the Black Friday discount. I understand they are pretty expensive, but considering it's a small business in Utah, happy to support them. Went with orange logo to go with my Alto Blue which has orange tailgate lettering.

I like the fact that a number of fellow northerners have had good experiences with these mudflaps and their interactions with slush, snow and salt. These are likely on my to-do list whenever I get my truck.

How thick is the logo? Is it part of the plastic? sticker? vinyl plastic spray on? I don't like free advertising, wish they had one with no logo. Could one take a Dremel with a wire wheel and scrape it off?

Get black on black…barely noticeable

I don’t understand. You want lime green but don’t want a logo? Me confused
green mudflap wanted, don't want logo, will try and wirewheel them off or a light sandpaper.
