Reverse Brake Assist Not Available

My 2025 AWD Lariat Hybrid recently started showing the "Reverse Brake Assist not available, see manual" error whenever it put it in reverse. I've tried the following:

• Read the manual
• Cleaned the parking sensors
• Cleaned all cameras
• Ensured the tailgate is shut
• Ensured the hood is shut
• Turned the feature off, then on again
• Turned cross-traffic check off, then on again

I haven't yet tried disconnecting the battery to reset the alert. All of the cameras and parking sensors work fine otherwise.

Has anyone else had this problem? Is there anything else I can try to fix it myself before bringing it to the dealer?

think i would pull the negative battery cable off for awhile, then put it back on and see if that resets it in any way. Good Luck!!!!

Pulled the negative and left it off for 30 minutes. No luck .

Less than 36K for the bumper to bumper warranty to still be in effect.

All of the cameras, sensors, and other driver assist features are working fine.

If you turn the feature off does the warning still pop up when in reverse? Asking because my 2024 does not have this feature. But it sounds like a trip to the dealer is needed.

Sounds like a trip to the dealer. Wonder if a cable got loose or a fuse blew.
