My 24’ AWD Eco Lariat has one of the quietest cabins I’ve ever owned in a little pickup truck.
I’m not messing with it.

Joining the comparison club;
The Mav is quieter than my Transit(not Connect), unless I'm hauling a bunch of stuff and the back is full, not allowing soundwaves to bounce around.
It is not quieter than the X5, but the X5 has more padding and upholstery.
It's not as quiet as the Fiat 500e, but it has a tiny interior that doesn't allow much bouncing around for soundwaves; and it's electric.

I got used to my van, I was always shocked/impressed when getting in a real car as to how quiet they are. I can't even tell the engine is on in my Mom's Q5. My brother's F250 superduty lariat pickups were also pretty quiet.

Hello everyone, sorry for the late update. So in fact it was that center filter/vent that was making the noise. Noticeably as it would open whenever the car was in motion.

I don’t plan to go down the box with foam part, many have suggested. I most likely have foam pads pushed against it with a storage bin.

It was some what expect that it was the vent, but I didn’t know how to address it. As the cabin would be so loud when driving with the vent open. Leaving the driver window open slight on the road would actually allow the vent to close making it quieter even with the driver’s window open.

Thank you all again.

I'm pretty sure this vent is where I am getting mice entering the cab. I can see they've been in the under-seat bins and this vent looks to be the most likely point of entry. Now looking at adding some mesh to the inside to block it but allow air flow.

For my 2000 ranger and wife's 2016 Subaru, I inserted chickenwire within the air intake vents... they still caused damage elsewhere... but, it prevented the smell of death occurring inside....:puke: …the Mav seems to be a harder task...:question:

Sorry! Where are my manners LOL
I am awaiting on the 3/4” Plywood cut. It’s basically an empty space.

Sadly I can’t go to the back sear while I drive to figure out where the noise is coming from; either the foam pas behind the passenger seat or the vent in the center. Will try to plug the vent with some foam or clothing/fabric and update :)

Thank you for all the reply everyone.
