I'm pretty sure this vent is where I am getting mice entering the cab. I can see they've been in the under-seat bins and this vent looks to be the most likely point of entry. Now looking at adding some mesh to the inside to block it but allow air flow.

I just installed it. It's a perfect snug fit and does not move once it's on. Install from the back to the front, pushing it down at the front for it to slide down into place over the front of the console lip. I like it. This should be perfect for my dog who likes to stand its front too feet on...

Mine arrives tomorrow, I'll update in this thread. It's TPE but I'm expecting firm but not hard, with a matte finish. Nothing too rough, or rubbery, tacky or grippy for that matter.

I am wanting to order this guard but I don't like the idea of sticking the bumpers to the hood (easier to clean without, and also concerned about damage to the clear coat if I decided to remove the bumper in the future). After all this time, how is the non-bumper install going? Any vibrations...
