Couldn't be any happier with my choice of EB Lariat AWD 4K tow. I recently completed a 6K mile cross country trip mostly on I-20 from Phoenix to South Carolina, with a couple of days of local driving thrown in. Ran in ECO mode most of the time at a pretty constant 72 - 74 MPH, AC on all the time, fully loaded with golf clubs & camping gear. (Haven't towed anything yet but expect to pick up a lightweight travel trailer in the near future, hence the 4k tow choice)
The vehicle computer calculated MPGs at 31.6. I also used the Fuelio app to log fueling and it came at in at 31.22 MPG. Distance between fill-ups ran between 442 and 497 miles.
I love the smooth ride, great acceleration when needed, and especially how easy it is on my aging body.
As an added bonus I learned to use the lane keeping assist system which I didn't like at first because it seemed like it wandered too much. But on a long trip like this to be able to just maintain a light touch on the steering wheel and pretty much let the technology do the work made the drive that much easier. In some situations I was more comfortable with a firmer grasp on the steering wheel.
BTW, it gives you 12 to 15 seconds of completely hands-free driving before it starts nagging you. (I know, I know, Tesla and EVs yada yada yada but I didn't buy a Tesla)
