I have a question, when picking up the vehicle the dealer presented a list of add Ons (see image with the prices scratched out). They were very professional, and I have to the end of the month to get the pricing they listed. Curious if anyone thinks these are worth it, and if so at about what price. I know price is significant factor, but I didn't want to mix issues which is why I covered them.

I am potentially interested in the 3M hood shield. Any input is appreciated.

I'm pretty certain that you can get any of that stuff done by a professional detailer at lower cost and probably better quality. IMHO, anything you can do that will legitimately protect the vehicle cosmetics is worth doing if you plan to keep it long term. I had mine rustproofed and undercoated by Ziebart (lifetime warranty with annual touchups), and ceramic coated by a detailer.

Nope. None. Especially without seeing the prices of anything. And if you are considering a warranty get them to match Granger's prices for the FORD ESP or tell em to pound sand. Also keep in mind these dealer mark up packages will add to the monthly cost and interest on a loan if that's how you are buying. You are better off looking elsewhere 99% of the time.

Some years back, I owned a car wash. In some cases I would see 10-year-old vehicles come in looking like they drove out of the showroom. Then I would see other ones of the same age that I didn’t think could make it to the junkyard where they should’ve been left. In nearly all cases, there was just a simple common theme: the vehicles that were well cared for, washed frequently and kept in the garage were the ones that lasted. The ones that lived outside under a tree and were never washed or rarely so were the ones that looked like crap.
You don’t need any of these fancy items. I have no idea why you chose to block out the price it’s not as if it’s your Social Security number, but in any case prior posters are right. Any of the stuff can be done outside of the dealership probably at a better quality and for less money, if that’s what you choose to spend your money on.
Just taking care of your car, and keeping it clean and washed is better than any of that stuff.

If you block out the prices how are we supposed to give you an opinion?

It's nice that the Owner lets their grandson make their warranty sheets in MS Paint.

Thank you for all your replies. As I stated in my original post, I wanted to separate whether an item was worth doing (worth doing at all) and the price. It appears the consensus is not, and you could get it cheaper at a detailer etc. That being said now I will add in the sheet with the prices, and I am assuming the consensus will not change.
