No I didn't press and hold. The other times I fueled up that wasn't necessary. The button had no travel when I pressed it this time. That's what made me think that the button was stuck.Did you try pushing & holding the fuel door release button?
On the Hybrid, the push button on the lower left must be pushed and held until it releases the fuel door, and it displays Fuel Door Open on the instrument cluster. ....... Just pushing the button and releasing will not open the fuel door. Found this out the first time I filled up. Not mentioned in the OM.
