Exactly . I’m eliminating as much chrome as possible and keeping with the red and black combination. I wanted to try a longer antenna for better reception and stumbled across the red antenna. I asked myself “why not”? After installing it I wasn’t sure if it fit so I put it out there for others to comment.

Why not, indeed? I'd say keep it, so long as it doesn't affect the color of the music you can pull in. For example, if you like blues....

Do they still make the tires that had the bright red stripes on the contact patterns? They were also sold in bright blue and yellow. Your truck needs a set of those as well.

No it was on the actual contact pattern that made contact with the road at headlight two or three solid colored stripes. I don't remember who made them.

It was done during the tire manufacturing process they weren't stickers.

No, in my opinion, you are too monochromatic for my taste. I would not have done the rims, and I certainly would not have that antenna unless it were chrome or black.

I like it too. I wonder if it would look better or worse with thing black bands taped or painted on?

Paint the antenna red and leave the small spiral wire going around it black.

Easy to visualize different treatments in PowerPoint. I just drew a black line at the base of the antennae. You don't need Photoshop to play with photos. I kind of like this floating antennae idea.
