All, I used to have a nice automotive tire pressure gauge, it was a pencil type, all metal including the gauge part. I got it many (many!) years ago from my boss when I was a tire tech and it was always dead accurate, he in turn sourced them from a local tire supply warehouse. It did not have any branding on it so I don't know who made it. Somewhere over the past few years it went missing. I cannot seem to find one like it as all the newer ones have a plastic gauge.
I've been using a cheap "Slime" branded dial-type one from the local auto parts place and I no longer trust it, seems it can be off 1-2 PSI depending on it's mood.
Can someone recommend to me a gauge that does not cost an arm and a leg? Prefer analog (no battery powered thingies).
