Just took the Mav out for a 10 mile drive and when I got back I tested the app on the phone to see if remote start was available and it was.
So now I am thinking I should use a float charger to keep the battery in a stronger condition. Between the very cold weather and the modest amount of driving this truck sees it looks like an attractive option.
Are there any special things to look for in a float charger when dealing with the AGM type battery?

That it claims to handle AGM batteries, either automatically or by button press.

Also - unless you just enjoy it (and who doesn't!), no need to actually drive.
The truck's system is a battery charger, fed from the HVB.
Don't need to drive - 12VB is going to be fed whatever the system is going to give it, easily within 10 min, maybe 15, before float charge level.

Now - it's lower A when colder - but was 10 miles enough to warm up the cabin and battery anyway? I finally had some great charging this Sun, long drive and 70 F. Didn't help by this morning of course, nor really on the trip overall. But still.
